Your Trusted Professional Home Inspectors

We are a Veteran Owned and Family Operated, Multi-Inspector Company. We are driven by our desire to raise the standards of the industry, in order to disrupt the status quo with an unmatched attention to detail.

Selecting the right home inspector can be as important as finding the right home. As American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Members, we have passed written examinations, testing our knowledge of residential construction, defect recognition, inspection techniques, and report writing, as well as ASHI’s Standard of Practice for Home Inspections and Code of Ethics. Membership in ASHI is well-earned and maintained only through meeting requirements for continued education. ASHI’s Code of Ethics stresses the home inspector’s responsibility to report the results of the inspection in a fair, impartial and professional manner, avoiding conflicts of interest.

The BVI program allows ASHI members to voluntarily undergo a criminal background check. Our clients, and the agents on both sides of the transaction have peace of mind knowing that the inspections will be conducted by one of our Background Verified Inspectors.

You can trust US to go to work for YOU!

Well Water Testing

Our Inspectors will perform a well water test by collecting a sample and providing a report of the laboratory’s results. The laboratory will analyze each well sample for Coliform Bacteria and Escherichia coli (E. coli), and provide a report of their results.

What are Coliform Bacteria and Escherichia coli?

  • Coliform bacteria are a large group of many kinds of bacteria, including fecal coliform bacteria, which occur naturally in the intestines of warm-blooded animals.
  • The group also includes non-fecal coliform bacteria. One species of fecal coliform bacteria is Escherichia coli. If E. coli or other fecal coliform bacteria are in well water, the water has come into contact with human or animal waste and could cause disease.
  • People who drink water from a private well should have the water tested at least once a year to make sure that it is safe to drink.

Professional Sewer Inspection

Our professional sewer inspection involves using specialized equipment, such as self-leveling cameras, with high-definition receivers and transmitters to examine the condition of sewer lines and identify any potential issues like blockages, leaks, or damage, and to locate potential problem areas. This inspection helps ensure the proper functioning of the sewer system and can prevent costly repairs by detecting problems early. Our inspectors can also help locate septic tanks, which is a common issue, especially in the purchase and sale of older and rural homes.

Certified Radon Testing

Our Inspectors have successfully completed the Radon Measurement Professional Course, and successfully passed the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) Exam and Certification process. We use SunRADON Model XP Professional Continuous Radon Monitors (CRM) that are placed per EPA protocol for a minimum period of 60 hours.

Some facts about Radon:

  • Radon is a cancer-causing natural radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell, or taste. Its presence in your home can pose a danger to your family’s health.
  • Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, and the second leading cause of lung cancer in America. Radon is estimated to cause about 21,000 lung cancer deaths per year, according to the EPA’s 2003 Assessment of Risks from Radon in Homes. (EPA 402-R-03-003)
  • The US Surgeon General and EPA recommend that all homes be tested for the presence of radon.
  • You should test for radon and take action if your recorded radon level is greater than or equal to 4.0 pCi/L. Radon mitigation systems can reduce the level of radon to a safe level for your home.
  • According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, approximately one of every three homes tested for radon in Missouri has been found to have a radon concentration exceeding the EPA’s action level of 4 picocuries per liter (pCi/L), which are considered Harmful Radon Levels.
